I started this business because plus size clothing is a fabulous niche market growing every year. Plus size women have a hard time shopping at brick & mortar stores and so turn to online for their needs.

The reason of selling this business

As a father of 7, I am pursuing another full time job and do not have time to divide. Therefore I am selling at a low price. This allows you to buy the business at really no substantial investment

What's involved in running this business

To run the business you need to 1) add and maintain the catalog clothing choices ( presently hired out) 2) steadily continue to create back links in the industry. (presently less needed as we buy up domains) . Adding new products is automated as are orders 100% drop shipped so far.

Additional occasional tasks to boost the store is to hire out writing a quality blog once every month or two and produce an occasional video. I have the tools to do these tasks free in a well organized database you will receive which will allow you to do these tasks systematically and organized. A superb proprietary list of resources and know how is included.

We've optimized the theme speed and design and now the results are begining to show in June 2021.

Traffic is almost all generated automatically at minimal cost. Minimal is spent on Ads (Less than $100/mo) in general. Lots of traffic emanating from Google direct, Pinterest, Facebook, Bing , iOS and Android apps, and specific marketing channels and many other places around the web. Since Amazon is new, it will begin to bolster sales shortly. Customer relations are automatically kept in touch by using intelligent connectors that keep customers and influencers in touch by segments intelligently and automatically.

Attaining new customers happen as a result of visitors to the site and should be strongly augmented by posts on blogs and Influencers in the industry. For example recently, we were added to a few great Plus size blog and directory and we're working on wikipedia now. Adding valuable links like these will bring the store to the top of search results in the Plus size industry.

Product research can be improved if you have an eye for fashion and use automation to choose the right set of styles. We randomly choose products from supplier sources and with experience have drastically improved the selection online. Better selection will result in significant change to conversion of sales soon.

Other details about profit: There is an extra 25% more sales from phone app, Google shopping and other venues that are not reported in Shopify. All sales will be proven to the final buyer. The store began an explosive growth rate in June 2020 because the site was ranked quite high for keywords. Then we changed the domain so we've seen a setback. We've strategically re-pointed many domains to re-rank the store & presently seeing return in visitors to even higher heights than before. We're investing a lot of groundwork costs for the long run. Shopify's exchange limitation forces 2-3 years of data history which unfortunately is completely irrelevant when the store was not operational. March 2021, we registered trademarked the PlusMotif brand and began posting our collection on amazon! We have a few key contract workers to post optimized products on Amazon which is growing daily. Ebay hasn't opened yet which we anticipate will significantly round up our sales and internet prominence. Instagram and Pinterest are exploding as we improved it's professional presence and business catalog feed. I purchased for SEM purposes the exact 3 word domain plus-size-clothing that exactly matches the plus size clothing market. It worked and began ranking 2 years ago. Only 2 months ago, I changed the domain to a brand name and saw traffic fall tremendously. Today, both domains point to the store along with another 10+ strategically purchased domains in fashion. The search term "plus size clothing" is huge online with approx. 200K - 300K searches monthly per keyword term. eg: plus size dresses, plus size swimwear, etc.. 1st Note: Old 2017 sales data is included by Shopify when the site was not developed & had no sales, so the figures are artificially low. 2nd Note: Missing is iOS and Android app sales which is 39% more sales. I can share this data in shopify as needed proof. I am very committed to the store and will simply keep it if the price is not met.     Seller‘s Advice

    How to grow this business

    To grow the store, I recommend the following. 1) Pick & choose nice stuff from our suppliers. Presently we have less than 2% of our supplier's items posted to the store , so adding quality products to bring the sales up. 2) We've added back links to all the large fundamental portals like google, apple, youtube, pinterest, etc.. yet to grow the store is to add quality Back links to fashion sites and women's apparel portals and news sites. We've done some great ones , but I believe just a few more key sites will make a tremendous difference to ranking on google. 3) I recommend improving product descriptions which are presently basic bullets now. When done, a whole lot of specific item traffic will emerge.

    We've invested in key software and relationships such as IOS & Android Phone Apps linked to key clothing sites, automation inventory software. We've seen traffic spike without advertising anymore. I believe this will continue as the store grows.

    Amazon is a brand new channel which we just launched last week at amazon.com/shops/plusmotif ! We've just registered your own brand trademark officially at the US Patent Office and so now began to market on Amazon. We're seeing sales in Amazon Mexico and Europe which too is not included in the sales figures on shopify which are incorrectly too low.

    I would encourage getting a few like brands approved for marketing on Amazon and with time this will be a huge growth channel. Now with your own registered brand, this should be infinitely easier.

    In the past we accepted being linked to all kinds of sites, and found it not successful. We no longer link everywhere, but rather to high valued DA>50 fashion only sites. We're paying for specially curated fashion backlinks as they present themeselves. Our youtube channel now has it's own name and growing as we paid for some key new video productions posting as we speak. We have 2 Google Business Listings that are doing fabulous with increased traction month after month.

    Skills to have

    Since adding products and fine tuning SEO are the 2 main ingredients I would recommend a sound SEO base knowledge and willing to add new products 30 minutes a day. Otherwise, I would recommend outsourcing the tasks and manage the 1 or 2 employees as you see fit. An interest in women's apparel would be ideal.

    Generally owner should be comfortable with Shopify, Google tools, a bit of online marketing or source it out accordingly.
