General description

Poochified is an online pet store that seeks to provide a unique experience for its end-user. Powered by real-life dog owners, this site is geared toward enhancing owner-pooch relationships worldwide. REASON FOR SELLING: I have another store that requires more of my time and is even more profitable. POTENTIAL: The sales are there for this store, it just needs someone to minimize the advertising expenses and /or explore more organic advertising techniques (i.e. SEO). Being new to the whole e-commerce experience, I only focused on Facebook Ads and didn't explore Google AdWords, email marketing campaigns and other marketing vehicles. It averages over $ 2000 in sales per month (this average includes the several months that I didn't even run any marketing or ads to the store). Plus you'll have OVER 150 PRODUCTS ALREADY UPLOADED in store! CONVENIENT: This website can be run from anywhere in the world. All you need is a USD credit card. Check out screen shot below of sales from the week Hurricane Irma hit Florida. SUPPORT: I will make myself available to the buyer regularly during the transition process. I’m happy to help make the handover as smooth as possible. Seriously interested buyers only. Email me with any more questions. BONUS #1: I'm also willing to share the resources (videos and information) that I acquired from the Shopify training program (I paid $7,000 for this 8-week training). BONUS #2: I'll provide you with all ad files that I created (using Canva and Photoshop) for products that I ran ad campaigns on. This is a huge value as I'm a graphic designer by trade, and my ads have tremendous engagement. BONUS #3: I have some physical inventory (from returns) of my two best sellers. Most customers returned because they got the wrong size. I'm including this inventory in the sale of the business.

Why should someone buy this store?

This business is a perfect fit for the person who has experience with dogs, dropshipping and creating unique customer experiences. The main reason to buy is that it's a great source of passive income if you work the system right. I also have a tee shirt printing business, but during Hurricane Irma I had to evacuate Florida and head north to Georgia. I had to leave my regular business behind but Poochified continued to make sales while I slept in a hotel waiting out the storm. While tee shirt orders had to wait for me to return back to Florida and subsequently for the tee shirt vendors to open their doors as well, my dog store continued to hit consistent daily sales numbers.

How can the future owner improve the business?

The main reason that I'm selling this store is because I used this store as part of an 8-week Shopify Implementation Training Program that I invested in back in 2017. I learned how to use Facebook Ads and several other apps to get traffic and sales to my store. My main intention was to replicate this model with my college apparel business, which I am doing at this moment and need to focus all of my time and resources to. The right person for this business can use several vehicles to improve the business, like being more proactive with email marketing, working with local and national dog charities and scaling the business worldwide. Also, if working with the right vendors they can provide products and services similar to and

What work have you put into the store?

I have put several months of work into this store. From the 8-week Shopify Implementation training, logo creation, to adding over 100 products, creating Facebook and Instagram Ads, hours of product research, to syncing value-adding apps. The store runs on an auto-ordering system using Dropified, where once the order is placed you go into the orders on Dropified and click Auto-Order and all you have to do is pay for the item. Everything else is done for you, which saves you an enormous amount of data entry time.

Running this business for about 2 years
My main passion is screen printing and designing different concepts for colleges and alumni. Along the way to learning more about Shopify and Facebook advertising, I created a dog store that has generated $35,733. That's $5,000 less than my annual salary from 3 years ago, except for the fact that I was able to do this from home, literally make sales in my sleep, and fulfill orders with the click of button.
