Why this business was started

We wanted to test drop shipping as a concept as our other businesses were own brand or white label. We also wanted to test targeting niche audiences and the impact this would have on marketing and paid social specifically. We owned two pugs so it was no brainer to think of something pug related :) It was an interesting journey - we went full steam for a month and not touched the business since due to other priorities. It's so easy to drive reach and engagement in this market as people love pugs.

The reason of selling this business

We have two other businesses which have scaled very well and require our time. We personally prefer the own brand model and are more experienced with paid search as opposed to social media. Rather than not do anything with this, it would be great to see it go to a good home.

What's involved in running this business

Creating organic and paid social posts, little to no customer service or supplier conversations as everything is automated via Oberlo to the warehouses. We did buy some stock which is included as part of the sale but you can choose to run drop shipping or a stocked model. We personally like to offer fast shipping but epacket only takes a week or two generally so it's up to you.
