General description

I created this store because during my market research it came out as not very competitive at the time and the price point was a decent amount. The store has been live and making sales since March 21017. A couple of months after opening I had a professional designer take a look at the store and optimize it and make it look more appealing. It is connected to Google merchant center, analytics and adwords. Most of the sales traffic comes from Google PLA/shopping ads. It has its own Facebook page and some of the products are listed on Houzz (which has brought in a couple of sales so far). The store is a direct to customer drop-shipping store with 7 active suppliers, but with the potential to add several more. There are over 200 products from those 7 suppliers, but not all of the products are uploaded yet from every supplier.

Why should someone buy this store?

I believe that this store has a lot of potential. With many more suppliers to acquire and products to add there is a lot of room for growth. I recently redesigned all of the google shopping ad campaigns and so far they have been bringing in a lot better qualified traffic. Numbers are not high yet, but I am continuing to optimize them everyday to make it better.

How can the future owner improve the business?

I very recently revamped the adwords campaigns, but continuing to optimized them with negative key words and such things will help them grow and perform better. Focusing on re-targeting and really getting out there on social media will all improve the store and work together to bring in more traffic and more qualified leads. Adding new supplier and more products so that customers have more options when shopping will make the store more appealing to customers, as well. Going through and updating the product descriptions couldn't hurt, although I tried to incorporate as many keywords as I could when I was first uploading them.

What work have you put into the store?

The store currently has over 200 products on it. I have some listed on Houzz, I have email campaigns set up and targeting subscribers. I have pop-ups installed on the store to capture email addresses. I am always looking for ways to optimize the site so that it runs more efficiently. It's current load time is around 6 seconds. So there's room for improvement, but it is better than it used to be. I have worked really hard to revamp the google adwords campaigns so that they run better and bring in more qualified leads for the store. And I'm in the process of creating BFCM Campaigns and discounts that will hopefully bring more buyers to the store.

How to grow this business

If I were to keep I would put a lot more focus into adwords than I have in the past. Really focus on optimizing the funnels I have created in my shopping ads with the intention of expanding into search text and remarketing ads. I would also start adding new products to the store. A couple of my suppliers have added new products to the inventory list that I have not had a chance to upload yet. As well as bring on new suppliers.

I started Pristine-Fire as my first en-devour on my entrepreneurial journey and it has been a fun and interesting learning experience for me. I have learned a lot along the way and have worked really hard to grow this store from scratch. It has come to the point in my journey, though, that I am ready to try something new and send my focus else where and I don't want to split my attention. I believe that this store has a lot of potential for growth in the right hands. I just don't have the time or energy to spend on it anymore.
