Seller‘s Advice
How to grow this business
Your first initial goal is to launch a profitable PLA campaign leveraging Google Ads solely for the first 90 days. Next you should allocate a budget towards a dynamic retargeting campaign with Google Ads. Then follow up that campaign with a PLA campaign leveraging Bing Ads in 90-120 days pending that the Google PLA Ads campaign is at break-even or better. Next allocate a retargeting campaign with Bing Ads as well to retarget customers that use that platform again using the same metrics as before. Pending that all other campaigns are profitable at the 150-180 day mark you should be looking to add a text ad campaign with Google Ads targeting long tail keywords for the top 20% products you've been able to get sales for thus far and/or products that are getting viewed the most. Additional Marketing: Throughout your first initial six months you will also be capturing leads through strategic opt-in campaigns to maximize every visitor that has come to your website looking for your products. This will then lead to several email sequences that you will have set up to encourage people to purchase. Additionally, you should plan on growing your brand and product awareness by leveraging social media. Specifically, the platforms you should focus on for the first six months are Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest. Beyond Six Months: You will focus mainly on leveraging Facebook utilizing “Facebook lookalike audiences". This is one of the last things you look to implement because it’s were you'll find most of your cold traffic (people not looking for your products directly). Moreover, lookalikes are a way to get people who are not actively searching for dog houses or pet related products interested in potentially purchasing them. So, you'll need to develop pre sales engagement content. For example, wypu'll serve them something that is engaging that they’ll want to take a look at it – you'll use your blog content and find videos related to dog supplies and serve them an ad with your goal being to get them to take one of three actions: 1. They purchase right away 2. They viewed a product but they didn’t convert now they fall into the dynamic campaign 3. They don’t view the product- you retarget these guys to get them into the dynamic list. In conclusion: The way you treat the customer journey in your advertising and marketing plan is what separates your company in the marketplace. You should have your marketing funnel structured so that the top of the funnel serves pre-sales engagement to attract interest and provide information. From there, the customer views the product, and you begin to serve them dynamic product ad. At the bottom of the funnel are our Google PLA’s, search text ads, and search audience ads. This trio of campaign strategies will be how you generate revenue for you. This strategy should be implemented throughout the course of 6 months-1year, and updated and changed for the years after that.
