Why this business was started

This was originally built as a Dropship store and was profitable with a Page Authority of 26 and Domain Authority 17 after only a short time. Content is 100% original and design modern and fresh. I created this business after seeing a gap for Spanish speakers in US and Mexico targeting shoppers looking to buy gifts for men, women, mom, dad, boyfriend, girlfriend, birthdays, Christmas and more. These are all high search volume keywords but low competition. This gave me the idea to start a general store targeting all these high volume/low comp keywords offering a wide range of great products and then optimizing each page for on and off page SEO to ranking well on Google and not just rely on profit through paid advertising. I decided due to shipping times to switch the site and it is now 100% amazon affiliate site with all buy button linking to amazon via tracking links. Comissiones are earned from US, Mexico and Spain. The site is on Google Page 1 for my main target keyword Regalos Originales in Mexico and climbing up on many others.

The reason of selling this business

Im selling because I built and optimized the site specifically to sell to to someone looking to conquer the Hispanic US and Mexican and EU Spanish speaking market. I have three amazon affiliate account set up and products are imported from amazon via a great app, geo location is set up so that if a customer is not from Mexico it will take them to Amazon US or Amazon Spain and you will still get the comission. I waited for all product pages, collection pages and blog posts to be optimized (SEO) and a great MOZ ranking with a couple of months good profits and good social media following before putting it up for sale so potential buyers can see the potential. I have another English e-commerce business/project that I am launching so need to dedicate my time there.

What's involved in running this business

This is a Shopify store, incredibly easy to manage, created with quality professional looking images, 100% unique product page and collection pages and 6 SEO optimized and targeted blog posts with 2000-3000 words each. Quality internal linking within all articles. There are over 100 interesting products. More can easily be added with a great amazon importer app that brings in content and images. All pages have been SEO optimized including url, Meta title and descriptions.

This site reached a MOZ ranking of 26 PA & 17 DA after only 2 short months and will be increasing rapidly. Site load is fast and is ranking for over 270 key words across Spain, Mexico and USA as well as other countries.

Other details about profit: My only expenses other than spending on Facebook ads are directly via shopify, $14 month fee plus app fees. I am also paying $9 per month for Later (social media programming) but thats it. I would recommend continuing with 100% of the apps i have running and adding an Upsell/Cross sell app as well as hiring via Fiver or Upwork a writer to create more SEO optimized blogs and increase Google and Moz ranking not just paid marketing/ads. This is a low cost site but with huge profit potential not just from paid advertising but also via organic traffic.

    How to grow this business

    I would focus on testing as many products as possible using Facebook and Instagram ad's finding winning products and scaling them up. I would create new blog posts targeting high volume, low competition keywords, optimize them including quality internal and external links which will in turn start ranking the site for target keywords and that will pass through to the product pages. I would focus on building up Domain and Page authority to rank on Google Page 1 for as many high volume keywords as possible. Keeping building social media community and invest some money in blogger outreach, instagram influencer marketing and more facebook and instagram ads. I would also add more products and fill up the collection pages.

    Skills to have

    As all product pages, collection pages and blogs are SEO optimized there is not much that needs to be done there but it would be helpful to understand how to do it on page for adding future products to ensure the site keepings crawling up in Google ranking. Some knowledge of how FB advertising works would be also highly useful to maximize profits and quickly find top selling products to scale up.
