Technology: Retro Sales is built on Shopify with a customised graphical front end. The back end remains standard, but with enhanements enabled such as alternative payment gateway integration, worldwide postage prices, backup and restore, SEO and marketing strategies such as social proof.
We've invested heavily in SEO and organic Google rankings so we no longer need to spend a cent on advertising. All of our traffic is organic and has a wide reach all over the net for a vast array of retro gaming keywords. We continue to grow on a daily basis and only minor maintenance is required to keep the store running at it's peak. Rest assured there is no hidden costs behind our success such as expensive Adwords campaigns or other paid promotion.
Day to Day: Daily operations are very simply: Watch the inventory and order from suppliers as necessary. Respond to emails, trade in inquiries and buying opportunities, process orders and ship items.
