Why this business was started

This business was started as a philanthropic wearable technology brand. It was intended to be a long term donation source to countries in need of sustainable light & electricity. It was also intended to grow in the technology world & retail/fashion world simultaneously. We planned to keep up with the newest trends, technologies, & avenues for advertising.

The reason of selling this business

It's time to sell because I no longer have the time to manage operations like I used to. The business still has extreme potential for growth, but I just can't manage all aspects of this business along with all aspects of 3-4 other businesses. I'd like to give this business to someone with the resources and time to continue building it.

Other details about profit: Current profits are non-existent. We haven't been operating with a profit for quite some time, hence the reason for selling. Our products & branding hold great potential for a buyer to increase sales, create new business, & develop profitability as we used to. Since we have not allocated a budget for advertising in the past year, we have not sold the product volume we used to -- which is the primary reason for recent losses. We do have sales not listed in Shopify with previous vendors, buying wholesale. These would obviously diminish the Gross Profit Margins, however, it requires little or no advertising expense to develop wholesaler relationships.

Basically, I will tell you everything you need to know in order to sell the product like we used to when the appropriate time & money was put into ads, inventory, sales leads with wholesalers etc. I can provide the contacts of my manufacturers & suppliers to continue ordering inventory (if you want to keep the inventory structure the same).. you can also choose to change the entire product line or a partial change of the future product line. I've contemplated reinvesting and adding many different items to the collection. Again, upon request, I can assist in sourcing and ordering new product. A major skillset and value of mine is the ability to source and customize product. Any and all products from any industry. I can help source cutting edge technology, new charging innovations, the latest and best selling products on the market. I will offer my experienced opinion on what I feel the brand needs to get back on track and grow.     Seller‘s Advice

    How to grow this business

    Firstly, I would develop a solid advertising strategy, split across Google, Facebook, & Influencer advertising. I would develop new ideas for product that you wish to sell (beyond our inventory) -- I can assist with suppliers and trending products if you'd like... I would then develop a sales team to push the product into as many stores as possible (this is something I wish I did more of). I would attack as many technology & fashion focused blogs, Youtube channels, social media pages, etc.. that have a great deal of target audiences. Lastly, I would develop a very seasonal strategy to build sales during times of high-buying and potential conversion, and present the product as being a "unique gift for anyone".. That has always worked for us.

    Skills to have

    The new owner should know how to advertise & market product.. Develop high quality content & ads.. Develop the resources to get the product sold at the lowest possible cost. I believe the owner will do very well and be very happy if they are able to collaborate with low-cost, high traffic sites like Touch of Modern (a previous partner of ours), Fancy.com, GadgetFlow, etc. -- as well as presenting the product to brick and mortar accessory shops & tech stores.
