Why this business was started

I decided to start this business with the intention of being financially independent. To provide for my family of 3 kids and genuinely share the experiences of mother/fatherhood and the challenges of finding great and stylish products. This market is HUGE and extremely profitable and scaleable. Babies are born everyday, which is what makes this market a never ending cycle of new customers.

The reason of selling this business

I started building another online store at around the same time I was building Safe Haven. Recently, my current store blew up in sales and needs a lot more attention and time to maintain and keep up with demand. Unfortunately, I wont have enough time to concentrate on my baby clothing and accessories brand as much as I would have liked to, despite the excessive amount of hours and tweaking I put into this website. Literal blood, sweat and tears went into creating this website and thats where it got its beautiful look and efficient online presence.

What's involved in running this business

The business is practically done. From branding, website design, products, product descriptions (every product has its own custom product description which is great for conversions), product images, shipping options, automatic emails etc... The only thing needed to continue running this business is to fulfill orders when they come (takes a couple of minutes), create content for your instagram/facebook and email subscribers. Of course there are ads that will be needed to be created properly. One tip, ads are great, they bring traffic to your stores and will convert into sales. But in this industry it's all about influencers, influencers, influencers. Sadly, I ran out of time and never got the chance to efficiently search and build relationships with any.
