Why this business was started

I started this business as I identified a gap in the market in men's streetwear inspired by European and United Kingdom fashion trends. My vision was to bring overseas trends to Australia and create a strong community of influencers in the same demographic involving men's fitness, tattoos, and looking and feeling good.

The reason of selling this business

I have recently gotten married and am in the process of starting a family, my personal priorities have currently shifted and instead of putting the business on hold for a year, I believe someone who is eager to put in the work can really grow the business and take it to another level. My time to dedicate to marketing and customer service will be limited and with the right person it's inevitable that Saint Valent can grow substantially over the next few years.

Other details about profit: Saint Valent is currently stocked in 2 stores that pay via bank transfer. Both stores make regular orders every 2-3 months on average. Combined orders average approximately $2,800 AUD per order ($11,200 AUD/annually). As mentioned previously, both stores directly approached me for stockist requests. Proactively approaching stores can and most likely will result in much more business opportunities. I had never done this as our stock levels would sell out from our direct customers and I never felt the need for that approach, however, it can substantially increase revenue to take on new retailers.

      Saint Valent has an Instagram page with 23k followers and a Facebook with 2.7k followers and these will change ownership. We will also provide 3 months of on-going support to help you onboard onto the business and learn the ropes of running Saint Valent, including introduction to our current suppliers. There are professionally created 2-3 different logos of Saint Valent in AI/PDF/PNG format that can be used for different designs and styles. We will also transfer ownership of our Shopify/website, and pay for stock transportation to your delivery address to get off the ground and running within 2 weeks. We have pre-built ad templates in our Ads Manager that have generated tens of thousands in sales (as seen in the screenshot) with a high conversion rate (>3%) There are folders of professionally shot photography of our products modelled by well-known influencers and models in Australia, which will be transferred to you.

      We will provide 3 months of training and support regarding manufacturers to use and test, transitioning ad accounts (Facebook and Instagram), Google Analytics, Merchant Centre, and ensuring that the transition is smooth and seamless in transferring ownership. In addition, we will also provide email support for ways to grow the business further and how to scale and new product prototypes that are ready to be sampled.

    How to grow this business

    Saint Valent is an established brand that is trademarked with a strong community of influencers and customers loyal to the brand. The niche is men's streetwear with a focus on being fashion forward and trendy. We're stocked in 2 stores in Australia (without making pro-active outreach, these retailers reached out to us for wholesale). The upside is enormous and with a small amount of business development the goal should be to be stocked in over 100 retail stores in the next 5 years globally, and receive wholesale orders monthly.

    In addition, we were only running paid advertising on one channel (Facebook and Instagram Advertising) as our sales were strong and we would sell out quickly. Google Shopping is yet to be tapped into and is just as profitable, there is an opportunity for you to double down on stock quantities and scale to $10,000 or more monthly within 2-3 months and is more than realistically possible. Google shopping is an extremely profitable channel.

    We can provide contacts to a clothing designer and sourcing supplier in the UK that understands our niche to create trendy designs and help with the transition process. Our quality of product is premium, having trialled and tested over 10-15 different manufacturers through a sampling process. We will let you know what products are best-performing and which to double down on for guaranteed sales.

    Our packaging is also branded, with a Saint Valent logo printed whilst being professional and neat.

    The opportunity is there for the taking should you wish to scale the brand, there is more than enough proof in the pudding that this is a trialled and tested business that has only operated in Australia to date.

    Significantly increase revenue by creating a Google Merchant Centre account and starting Google Shopping Ads, highly profitable and with a strong return on investment from paid spend.

    Invest in influencers both organic and paid (micro influencers and macro) and use this content to scale your ads across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and Google

    Conduct wholesale outreach and connect with retail owners and aim to get stocked in 100 stores in the next 5 years (to date business owners have come to us directly to get stocked in their stores).

    Invest in new stock and designs, test new manufacturers.

    Grow social media following through giveaways, paid advertising, utilising TikTok as a core channel for rapid follower growth.
