Why this business was started

I saw an opportunity in the market to supply a toy that was in demand. I believe this opportunity has gotten even bigger. There was/is a trend in Spain for this toy and toys in general.

I had started a store before on Shopify but the product was too general, this toy is easy to market as it's very emotional and it's a impulse purchase.


The reason of selling this business

Due to a new job ( which I've finally landed) I won't be able to give my full attention to the store at least the next several Months if not longer.

What's involved in running this business

Very little is involved in actual running of the business. The few things i do every second day or 2 is: 1. Process orders and send follow up emails. 2. Post on instagram/facebook a few times a week to keep the brand in the mind of my consumers 3. Update the specials/ discounts I run on my website ( countdown timer) 4. Change the creative every now and again to keep things exciting.

    I would focus on growing the brand ( great name) and add products to the store. With the world becoming more and more liberal, a sex store like this, I believe has huge potential.

    I focused on Spain as I live here and sex toys have become very popular.

    People have become very comfortable discussing sex and using toys in the room has even become encouraged.

    With a little more effort, this store can become very successful. I'm already in the top 6% of store traffic for when I opened it.

    Skills to have

    My website is in Spanish however my Spanish isn't good at all. I use Deepl for translations and it works perfectly. So being able to speak spanish would be a plus and would help you deal with things in a faster manner.

    A good marketing sense of what women "want" and how to convey that emotionally will help. Creativity will go far as there are several other people selling in this category so it's all about making your product/website stand out. My creatives have been eye catching and I've been in the top 6% of traffic since opening my store.

    The store can easily focus/ be marketed to other countries within a few minutes.
