General description

Successful Womens Fashion Store for Sale. 100% Drop-shipping No Inventory and I include my strategy to find winning products complimentary to everything else on the store.

We started Seasons Couture back in September and really hit our stride late October selling winter parkas to Ladies 55+ located in northern American states. We price almost everything at 99.95$ USD to ensure no matter how poor the sales or high the CPA (Ad cost per action) we can always net at least 10%. Upsells have been very very easy and profitable as if you can get cold traffic to commit to a 100$ buy upfront what is an extra 50$ on a complimentary product?

Every product on the store is profitable, we have lots of other stuff on the site that looks like it just takes up space but when exists solely because we find if someone likes the parka but doesn't want to buy they may leave with something small like a 30$ hat or a scarf.

Revenue numbers are impacted by about $30.000 USD in returns issued do to people either cancelling their order after giving it a second thought (our AOV is 90$) and due to a supplier not sending things out properly resulting in customers not receiving there orders. This happened mid December and since then refunds are standard for the fashion industry at about 10 - 15 %. Total Gross revenue is actually about $155,000 USD.

I have interests in Crypto currency and can no longer devote any time or money to this store. With the impending Chinese new year slowing things down I have decided to get out of the business ironically before spring arrives (very profitable light puffer coat season, already on the store ready for you) and invest time and money elsewhere. My paypal account has also come under standard review (no money withdraws till complete, takes 1 month on average in my experience) between that and my other interests a lot of my capitals tied up so im looking for a quick sale hence the low price. I am of course open to offers and will provide after sale support and advice on FB ads if desired.

Store is of course sold as is.

Financials and traffic

Profit margins average between 20 - 40 % depending on what product is being promoted heavily via FB ads. Jan and Dec were huge for us as we cracked the code on FB Feb has been slower as we were really trying to streamline and improve things like shipping times and quality control. Chinese new year is also an issue so we have been looking for a USA based product to pick up the slack.

Business Expenses

This happened mid December and since then refunds are standard for the fashion industry at about 10 - 15 %. Exchanges for different sizes are very rare because we have invested time into creating excellent size charts for our customers reference. Some apps were unnecessary and weve removed them, would be best to apply for Shopify plus to get the lower rate and simply pay the 1 year fee up front as you would save a bit of money and have access to the advanced tools/reporting etc. Not something were doing as were selling of course.

We use an app called that allows us to see real time our ad spend, revenue, COGS, profits, returns you have a crystal clear vision of the numbers and this of course would carry over to you.

Q & A

Why should someone buy this store?

The margins vary depending on were selling, however no matter what we put up because we always present it in the best light we can command a high price point (minimum 50$ USD, Average 100$ price points) and this ensures there is enough meat on the bone so even if ad cost per sale (CPA) is really high at least 10 - 15% can be net. While not ideal it kept us in the black to the point where no matter what we tested we were profitable. The downside to this is data collects relatively slowly....however not an issue now as you could create a Lookalike audience on facebook from the 2000+ buyers emails included with the sale and be up and running to high quality people instantly.

Even if you were to completely disregard our site and what we have done the data from the 2000+ buyers is a massive boon and could be used to springboard any venture catered toward older ladies and older ladies with an interest in fashion. Elderly Americans constitute a massive amount of consumer buying power and are very patient when it comes to shipping time, support is absolutely minimal we receive 15 - 20 emails per day mostly people asking little questions already answered on the page but offer them a 10% off coupon and you guarantee the sale.

How can the future owner improve the business?

We have done 0 email marketing despite having a list of over 2000+ buyers and more from abandoned carts and standard email sign ups. We were not very good with facebook ads at the beginning so if your above average your performance should exceed ours. Instagram is a massive market we have not touched at all, not too mention google ads or anything else except FB ads. Finding more USA based suppliers to cut down on shipping times to would also be ideal, we have some agreements with aliexpress sellers where they process our orders right away so the average shipping time is 8-11 business days not 20+ days. This would obviously carry over to you the new owner.

What work have you put into the store?

Everything except the theme was done by us, we are very good at presenting things in the best light and placing the right information in the exact spots the customer wants to see it so they make an expensive impulse buy. The theme is shoptimized and once we installed it conversions went up a full 1% to an average 3%, this theme takes an hour to get used to but is hands down the best on the web for shopify.
