Why this business was started

I noticed my wife really struggle to find a suitable pair of period-proof underwear and each brand she would purchase was either very expensive or lacked quality.

So we decided to create, design and manufacture our own. We sourced a manufacturer and the process took about 16 months of development before we launched online.

The reason of selling this business

After setting this business up, it was the plan for my wife to take over and run it day to day.

However being a full time mum and with another one on the way she just hasn't been able to focus and spend the time needed on the business.

I have another business that takes up all of my time so we wanted to see the business grow to its full potential!

This business is set up to be as automated as possible, all stock is in a third party logistics warehouse in Sydney. All orders via online are then automatically picked, packed and shipped to the customer via the fulfilment company (branded as She is Lunar).

The owners job is to simply work on marketing and sales to grow.

    How to grow this business

    Influencer marketing: Due to lack of time we were not able to focus on this but when we did manage to work with influencers, it was very effective.

    Wholesale: We have continued to receive wholesale request for She is Lunar, there is great opportunity for wholesale!

    Paid ads: Again due to lack of time to invest in this, we have ran very limited ads and campaigns. In the month of may with only 1 active campaign we generated over $4000 in sales.
