I had brick and mortar type of business. After closing it down after many years, I saw how everyone was doing e-commerce stuff. I was fascinated and decided to give it a try. This is my 4th e-commerce store and 1st with Shopify. I always loved spirituality so I wanted to share my ideas and passion in a form of business that converted. Facebook ads will take most of your time. I have setup Google Merchant which will be free traffic down the road once SEO settles down. Playing around with various ad sets and ad designs to see which one converts better. I will provide you with audiences and demographics that are converting.
Fulfilling orders through Oberlo. I have vetted my suppliers and all of them are reliable and will fulfill your order within 1-2 business days.
I have a custom email confirmations (purchased app, no subscription!) that look professional and you can integrate discounts, review requests within them without hassle of coding. Website runs on custom Debutify theme that is discounted 50% off for the next year (YEY!) Additional upsell apps that will help you convert more customers.

Currently, spirituality is a trending and growing topic and it will grow over the next few years. You can collaborate with potential influencers within the niche. Additionally look in to creating a subscription services for bracelets, necklaces and other accessories based on customers preferences like their Zodiac sign, spiritual views etc.
Skills to have
I strongly recommend getting certified with Facebook ads. It can be done either through Coursera (my preference) or directly with Facebook through their official blueprint program. It will give you an advantage when running ads and your ad costs will decrease by doing them yourself. As well knowledge of graphic design through Canva is an asset (or Photoshop.) Basic knowledge of analytics and how to analyze data from Facebook's Pixel, Google ads. This will help you to scale you sales!
