Business Expenses

Advertising costs differ per month depending on how much I want to spend. Some months I don't spend anything extra on ads and some months I spend up to $50, depending on needs.

Do you work with any employees, freelancers, or contractors?

I work on exchanges. I exchanged a certain amount of free product for the girl who created my logo, for example. This is how I work currently as it's still a new company.

Why should someone buy this store?

  • It has a good following and the numbers have improved since I dropped some pricing thinking that I would close my store. I do very well at vendor events, selling anywhere from $250-$450 at one event depending on the traffic at that event.
  • I already have a good following and it only has potential to improve.
  • There is a need for this type of business in the industry. Mothers, who have a limited amount of income, still want to look fashionable and be modest at an affordable price.
  • High conversion rate and top 20% of stores started the same day as mine for traffic.
  • I'm hoping to find someone who can keep the vision. Most of my customers are local and I give them the option to pick up from my home for free. But I do have recent customers from GA, TN and UT. Many of my customers are very loyal and purchase often.
  • The products you see are not the only ones I carry or have carried. I can tell you more about the vendors that I use and the products that I have and have carried. I'm currently getting rid of my stock and making room for a new owner to choose their own products.

How can the future owner improve the business?

  • Better marketing strategies (I didn't have the time to put into marketing like this business needs as I work full-time as well.)
    • Instead of using stock photos, hire a model and photographer to get a "look" for the company, possibly. I would use either stock photos OR I had a customer model program.

What work have you put into the store?

  • Customer models - I would have customers post photos to my Facebook page wearing our clothing after they purchased it, that gave me rights to their photo. If it was a good photo for advertising, then they would receive a one use 40% off discount code and I would get to use the photo on my website!
    • Built and started the brand. I had a connection for the logo and offered her free clothing until the agreed upon $ amount had been reached.
    • Marketing, advertising, shopping and pricing. I also have an ABN and seller's permit so everything is official.
    • Just ask...more than I can think of at this time!
    • Facebook store and VIP page, Instagram and Pinterest social media. Facebook is where I am saavy and where most of my followers are. It's also what is the most updated.
