During a career break I decided I needed a new challenge. I have always had a talent for sourcing unique pieces and independent designers and I wanted to initially bring thing designers to the UK and Ireland. However, much of my business goes to the US and further afield in Europe now.

Sixforgold is an online destination for designer jewelry and luxury accessories from around the world. A carefully curated collection of the finer things launched in 2015.

At sixforgold we value quality over quantity. The pieces you will find when shopping with us have been chosen by us because they are things that we want to buy! We have no love for disposable fashion. All of our jewelry is handmade and in many cases made to order for us. Our goal is to bring you beautiful stylish pieces that you won't find on the high street. Some of the designers we stock are exclusive to sixforgold in the UK and in Europe so you won't find many of our pieces anywhere else! We are constantly looking for new brands and designers that inspire us and our collection will continue to grow as we find wonderful things from around the world to share with you. We want your shopping experience with us to exceed your expectations from the minute you order your new treasure until the beautiful gold package arrives promptly at your door.

How can the future owner improve the business?

I would say marketing is key .Engage with influencers, run social campaigns and invest in PR. Also, the business could be easily expanded to include clothing and accessories to increase the market an generate more traffic and sales.

What work have you put into the store?

I have built the brand from the beginning from concept to execution. Every piece of jewelry we stock has been sourced and hand selected by me. I worked with a professional marketing agency to develop the brand and build the website, additionally a professional photographer to photograph all inventory. All of all orders ship in custom gold packaging adding to the luxurious nature of the brand.
