Fb Ads are Temporarily paused from May to Mid-June
Sloth Nation for myself was to create a community and network of Sloth Lovers. I have realized after following pretty much all the sloth related pages on Facebook and Instagram that they all have such awesome sloth content for sloth lovers but nothing to fulfill their love and support. Which is why i created Sloth Nation, it is a hub for all sloth lovers to be apart of the community and show/express their love for sloths with our branded products. Our site does not feature this now but we have been thinking of a blog integrated on our site and maybe a separate domain or sub-domain for a sloth lovers forum. It will be a way to connect people together and share a mutual love for sloths and bring awareness to their current situation which we are also supporting within our business.
Our store has been running for a couple months so it has not been completed just yet but hopefully the individual who takes over Sloth Nation has a similar vision who can complete the site and be on their way to create a Legacy within the industry.
In our role as a Sloth Loving store we donate a percentage of our profits to the World Wildlife Fund to raise awareness and support a meaningful cause. The percentage of charity would have to be adjusted to match our ability to grow and expand our brand and cause. It is currently very low to figure out a future gameplan to effectively and efficiently run Sloth Nation for the long-term.
I have spent much time in the beginning of the project developing a theme and story for the store, sourcing products, creating relationships with suppliers (which i will transfer one of the relationship for the best selling product on our site), creating a short-term 'golden' ad through Facebook and Instagram.
In terms of generating sales we use Facebook Business Manager to create ads which shows on FB and Instagram. We will also be transferring ownership of the account at the point of purchase and our history and strategy for our best selling ad is still on there with all the trial-and-error ads also.
Our business model is drop-shipping but we are now leaning more towards print-on-demand due to easy fulfillment and faster shipping/communication for our Sloth Nation branded products. We have not actually released full branded collection but we have a strategy which we will share and improve on within our private chat if you are a serious buyer.
In relations to our revenue generated and our role in social media, Sloth Nations potential for growth is endless and we really hope the next new Sloth Nation vision takes on the journey. Our Facebook Page has 4000+ likes and followers, we haven't posted any sloth videos or images, not until we figure out how to re-post original videos without any copyright trouble or complaint. Our Instagram has almost 100 followers and we are in the same posting dilemma as Facebook.
In the point of a sale around 43% is profit not including Ad spend and Donations to the WWF. I do not worry to much on profits in the beginning but only to create a good following/network and relationships within Sloth Nation, focusing our front-end and developing a strong structure to give us the ability to grow and expand in the back-end and then profit profit and support support.
Developing that front-end, the customer service and communication we have gained quite a few recurring customers. We can discuss much further on this in private chat for serious buyers.
All in all i am selling Sloth Nation because my passion for continuing this has died down because i do not have the time and knowledge to continue this amazing project. I want Sloth Nation in the right hands and with the right person and visionary, hopefully someone with experience in selling branded products and a social media marketing background. I want to see Sloth Nation get big and i want whoever runs Sloth Nation to make a great impact within the Sloth Lovers Community and Sloth Community.
Thank You! Hope to hear from you soon.
