Why this business was started

The origin of sockeology began in the basement of my house in Mississauga nearly 2 years ago. Being an entrepreneur who is constantly looking for fun and unique opportunities to brighten up the world, funky socks became my new target.

As I studied the market on socks, I understood more and more how socks are the new fashionable accessories, allowing wearers to express themselves in a fun and colorful way.

Building a team of family and friends we studied different socks in different countries, assessing designs and patterns, measuring quality and durability and evaluating softness and comfort. The outcome - a proudly Canadian brand with socks from for every personality and lifestyle.

Because in the end, happiness is one sock away.

The reason of selling this business

As I have excelled in my career and I find it hard to manage time between two different professions. Sockeology has an amazing potential and it deserves a owner with constant burning passion. Time has come to pass the torch.
