I started this site because I wanted a creative outlet that would enable me to make money. I love jewelry, and this site allowed me to offer different styles of jewelry at great prices to women all over the USA. I was able to achieve the dream of making money while doing something I love. The products are all drop shipped products from reliable suppliers, which makes for a simple and low effort income avenue.
I decided to sell my site because I will be starting law school, and although the site is low maintenance, I believe that the added responsibility of running the site will be an extra time constraint I don’t need. I would also like to give someone the opportunity to take the site beyond what I have. I think it has great potential to increase profits significantly, given a proper marketing budget. I have stuck to a $5 a day budget and have experienced magnificent ROI. Selling will also give me some money to replenish my savings, which is important given the high cost of my law school.
This site is very easy to run. I import all products from Oberlo, modify descriptions and prices, and then add to my store. I add new products weekly. I have notifications set for product changes, such as price changes or out of stock alerts. It takes about an hour per day to review notifications. I put in orders as they come in. It is two clicks, and orders can be processed in bulk, so if you prefer to wait until the end of the day, that is a possibility. I use Google Shopping for my marketing. I have my spend set at $5 per day. I do not have to monitor anything with this, because it runs itself. I have all abandon cart emails, tracking notifications, and order updates set to automatically send.
