Why this business was started

Started in the Fall of 2018, SoloWomen was created and "dedicated" (e.g. Solo in Spanish means Only) to helping women look their best while achieving their health and wellness goals. Womens activewear, especially the well known brands, are expensive so there is an opportunity to provide high quality activewear at affordable prices. The demographic market is also very broad, ranging from 18 to 65 so you can target different segments with different products. Our primary market is 24 to 45, from fit moms to personal fitness trainers and those just starting their fitness journey.

The reason of selling this business

My mother passed away in February so taking a break to address personal family priorities and help my father.

    How to grow this business

    Scale current marketing activities with additional capital and leverage influencer marketing strategically. Identify additional business to business customer referral marketing opportunities as this is my most cost effective customer acquisition method. Continue to work on lowering customer acquisition cost (currently $15 to $30) and increasing average order value (currently $30 to $50). Annual value of a customer is approximately $150 (3x to 4x sales) and lifetime value is approximately 3 to 5 years ($500). Continue to leverage / expand on email marketing list, repeat customer monthly rate is currently 10%.
