Why this business was started

I started this business back in 2017 as a way to serve the online following i was building. I have grown a instagram beauty page and women started to ask for different product recommendations and so i started the store by dropshipping beauty and skin care products but soon after (mid 2018) i noticed that the winning product by far was the home waxing kit that was bringing more than half of the revenue of the store. It was then i decided to change the brand to solely focus on a waxing brand and be able to build a passionate audience around this niche with the potential to create repeat buyers each and every month on this huge industry.

The reason of selling this business

I have decided to sell this business as this year i started another venture on the fitness niche and i do not have any more time to dedicate on growing and scaling Sparklywax. As i mentioned before there is a lot of potential on this industry as you are able to create a strong brand where you can have repeat purchases on a consumable product. You can then scale everything by adding additional skin care consumable products to the product line like pre and post waxing lotions, creams etc...

What's involved in running this business

The current stock of products is all managed by a US Warehouse and any time there is a new sale the guys at the warehouse automatically pick, pack and ship the products and add the tracking information to the customer order so that is all set on automatic. Supplier is based on China and they create everything from the wax warmer to the sticks and wax so 1 supplier for everything. When it comes to running traffic i suggest focusing specially in facebook ads. Then expanding to google and potentially pinterest in the long term. For the organic i suggest you focus specially on Instagram and email marketing and down the road you can also try pinterest and facebook.

Sparklywax is a hair removal brand that focuses on selling home waxing kits. Waxing is a trype of hair removal were by heating hard wax on the wax warmer machine you get a melted type of wax were you do not need strips in order to remove the hair. By waxing you can achieve hair free smoother skin for longer (since you are removing the hair from the root) rather than shaving (up to 6 weeks hair free). And compared to laser it gives you smoother skin because it also exfoliates the skin and works at all skin types (laser only works well on lighter tone skin types with dark hair)

    Incredible opportunity to scale throught paid advertising (FB, Google, etc) as i have never touched those traffic channel for this store. All sales were made through Instagram Organic and Paid Shoutouts.
