I invented the Spinny-Doo product one day in the garage as an effort to educate my (then) very young children Spinny-Doo is my own design, focused on performance, and everyone who played with it LOVED it. People kept insisting and so I sold them. Eventually, it turned into a 6-1/2 year business venture that made a lot of money, considering it was done part-time.
With the right care, Spinny-Doo could become a household staple like the Slinky, the Yo-yo, the Rubix cube, and Silly-Putty. Perhaps not as famous as the Rubix cube, but who knows. The Spinny-Doo sells itself, so who knows..

Make product, package, and ship. The product is already designed and needs only be fabricated when stock runs out. Packaging is already designed, and needs to be re-ordered when stock depleted.

Whatever support is required within reason. I will also continue to manufacture product as required, or until the seller until (s)he is ready to take over manufacture.
I will offer website support, though the website operation and design is very straghtforward.
The length of support largely depends on what the buyer needs. If we reach an agreement to manufacture on my premises and provide product at wholesale cost to buyer, then the support will last as long as that arrangement. Otherwise, I will transfer all intellectual property and provide 3 months of support.
All of this is subject to discussion with the prospective buyers.

How to grow this business
If I had the time, I would grow marketing more into the social sites, post more photos, videos, etc. Facebook was a very profitable way of advertising and drummed up a lot of business. I just don't have the time to hold a full time job, a part-time machining business job, AND keep up with all the channels required to effectively market the Spinny-Doo product. Hoping to sell this website to someone who has the energy, drive, time, and determination to make it a success.
Skills to have
You will require:
- Sales and marketing skills, particularly how to manage ads (Google, Facebook)
- Social Media skills to create proper Facebook pages*
- Photographic skills for taking pictures of product.
- Graphic design for the art and manipulation of photos
- Good command of the English language to write ad and marketing copy, communicate with customers.
- Basic web-management through Shopify
As for managing the inventory, this requires knowledge of manufacturing - or at least, how to provide CAD models to machinists and instruct them on the most optimal way to turn those models into product. I will provide these details. Until you're ready, I can continue to manufacture product.
But, you could also leverage the Spinny-Doo name to sell other types of spinning tops. I have contacts for a large number of top makers who might collaborate with you to provide product.
I used to have Google and Facebook pages, but my insurance policy required that I remove all efforts (including social media) to sell Spinny-Doo, which is why I do not link to those accounts. This is one of the areas I did not do well in - I managed Facebook simply by posting regularly to specific groups, rather than managing a facebook page.
