My name is Carl, and when I started this journey on e-commerce in late March 2018, I knew nothing about Shopify, marketing, and basically how anything worked. No one around me believed that I can run a Shopify store while having my full-time job AND still be profitable AND live a good life. I proved to them, and most importantly, to myself, that I can! Now, I am proudly operating and leading a profitable store where people around me are starting to ask me how I did it. For the last several months, I immersed myself in this industry to learn anything and everything I could to make this business work. I paid for a number of courses and followed the footsteps of several millionaires to learn their secrets (which I will share with you).
Of course, there were times when I ran into a brick wall and it felt like nothing I do was working. Nonetheless, I overcame all of it in the end! I learned how to do product research efficiently and effectively. I learned what to do and more importantly what not to do. I learned all the secrets to handling customers and how to attract and hire rockstars (which I will also share with you).
After communicating and connecting with many other entrepreneurs in drop-shipping, I learned that we all have deep concerns about packages coming from China. There were so many things that can go wrong. Sometimes suppliers would take your money and not ship, some would wait a couple week before shipping, and customers complain about the shipping time and quality. There were just a million things to worry about. So I asked the question, why are we still working with China? The answer was simple -- because the margin is there. So what if we can eliminate all the concerns while maintaining good margin?
Trustworthy suppliers who are running their businesses in the USA. Everything packed and shipped from the USA. No more long shipping times. No more trouble from Paypal. No more trouble from Stripe. No more complaints. No more low-quality products. Much more customer satisfaction!
Our store is currently in the process of transitioning to entirely using USA suppliers while maintaining the margin we had before -- and sometimes an even better margin!
What else? I figured out the perfect set of tools to automatic a majority of the process, from emailing to fulfilling, to managing tracking numbers, etc.
You have probably seen several gurus out there who are wildly profitable and make an insane amount of money on Shopify -- they do things that are seemingly impossible; but the truth is, if you knew the secrets behind them, you could do them too. These gurus have special strategies of their own -- they use consumer psychology, powerful methods that influence people to buy like crazy. I’ve learned a number of them and proved that they do work.
That being said -- If you don’t enjoy being a leader, or if you don’t respect people, or if you are just negative, then this probably isn’t the best opportunity for you.
This store isn’t a magic pill, but simply a vehicle to get you where you want to be safer and faster. It is to save you from stress and roadblocks and to have someone hold your hands on the journey.
