I started the business back in 2007 off the back of my own interest in Japanese denim and realising the key brands and products that people were talking about on the forums, were not readily available to the western market. So I booked a flight to Japan, made some appointments with the targeted brands I wanted to work with and it went from there.

Superdenim is for sale because my interest and passion for the business has dropped, as well as other financial events and commitments reducing what I could invest in stock to grow the business. I feel it is a good time for someone with the passion and stock budget to take it over.

Site: Merchandising the product pages and providing homepage with content / Adding new products / creating size guides / Customer service
Buying: Visiting trade shows London, Paris, NYC, Florence, Tokyo twice a year to order product and discover new brands. Fulfilment: Packing orders / Handling returns (A fulfilment solution is available as I do have 3PL fulfilment business) Accounting: Monthly reports, VAT etc

Superdenim.com has been a globally established mens clothing store for over a decade. Initially the focus was on Japanese denim, which remained core but as the store grew it added more and more brands, expanding the offering from denim and workwear. It is well placed to sell brands such as The Real McCoys, Orslow, Engineered Garments, Battenwear, Tender, and many Japanese workwear brands. The store could grow over the next 5 years by having a knowledgable buying team and putting some marketing budget behind it. It already has a huge customer list and is established, so curating it well with product would be a flying start.

I guess an interest and knowledge of premium denim and workwear. Our clients have been paying a lot of money for a premium well made product, so being able to connect with that customer too.
