Why this business was started

Support Apparels was created by a group of seniors at Dulles High School. What inspired us to take initiative of creating this platform was the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey last year. It was difficult for us to keep up with our studies as Harvey affected some of our houses and our living space. Support Apparels is a platform at which people can buy certain products that are themed with current natural disasters that we are trying to help support. Most of the net profits collected by the sales of the apparel from this site will be given to charity and those funds will go to disaster management and restoration programs. Our motto here at Support Apparel is to spread the word by making products that you can promote to the public just by wearing it. It can make a huge difference.

The reason of selling this business

Being just High School students, we found managing a business while working on our school work was difficult. In addition, to some degree, we lacked the knowledge of marketing. However, we be believe if someone is willing to put in the effort to what has already been established, this could become a successful business possibly with thousands of sells monthly. Overall, this business can potentially be helpful to those who are suffering in the world today and may possibly bring the owner many sales!

What's involved in running this business

Managing the business requires task such as being on trend with many of the current situations on the news and as well as with campaigns from charities. It also requires the production of unique apparel design that may possibly need to be renewed on monthly bases. Lastly, it requires a lot of marketing!

How to grow this business

If I were not selling this business, I would have possibly invested more time to build this business initially by working on producing many more campaigns and producing more designs. I would also do more marketing and experimenting in order to build a niche audience. If this is done over the course of some years, I believe this business will thrive and will be able to eventually partner up with bigger companies and generate greater amount of sales.

Skills to have

The new owner must be a fluent marketer who is caught up on trends and charity campaigns. They must also have good scales at producing designs based on certain campaigns.
