Suppy was founded because we were frustrated with the old-school protein powder. We saw retail stores stocked with an overwhelming collection of the same tubs, each identically bulky and overpriced. We knew better. Suppy prides itself on taking a modern and simplified approach to something that hasn’t changed in years. We produce Canadian-made protein powder and sell online to keep prices low.
The reason of selling this business
We founded Suppy as a side-hustle when we were fresh out of university and starting out in our careers in consulting. In the early days, we dedicated all of our spare time to build a foundation and establish a loyal customer-base. As our personal relationships and careers become more demanding, we found ourselves struggling to invest the necessary time into the business. We also realized that we lacked the digital marketing knowledge to drive continued growth. With limited time, money, and online marketing expertise, we realized the business would be more successful in the hands of someone else. There are so many untapped opportunities (e.g. marketing investment, geographic expansion, product expansion) that we hope the right person will explore to realize significant value.
