Why this business was started

We started this store several years ago and have had some very productive times and grown an email list of over 1,000 and Facebook group of over 11,000 that still has regular posts.

This store has many opportunities from outdoors, camping and fishing to honoring our service heroes and our country.

Our next step would be Print on Demand, in addition to many products, because of all of the opportunities in the various Niches.

Our last winning product had 44 sales on December of 2019 and nearly 200 in November and over 200 in October. I could go on...

The reason of selling this business

During the time we've had this store we have built a store in a very different Niche and it has become our main focus. It is a Niche that our family is rather obsessed with!

We run both of our stores ourselves, from building the store and product pages to product research, order fulfillment and Facebook Ads and Page.

The base of the store is set up and has over 70 products as well as an email list and large FB following.

Other details about profit: At this point we are not running Ads and are focused on another store so we are not making sales. In the last two months of running paid ads we had an average of $5,700 in sales with a 31% profit margin. We sold a product that was easy to bundle, which increased the AOV (Average Order Value). As you can see in the Average Monthly Revenue, June through November of 2018 is where we made a lot of revenue off of this one product. It's a very potentially successful store, we just chose to move on to another Niche.

    How to grow this business

    With all that is happening with COVID-19 I would suggest adding Print on Demand products in the outdoor, sports and survival Niches.

    Also, with Summer coming Fishing and other outdoor activities like Camping, just to name a couple, would be very popular.

    We've also found that our best customers are Men who have served our country and those work in Law enforcement.

    The product options are very wide. Consider what men enjoy, BBQ, Beer, outdoor activities, the second amendment etc.

    Skills to have

    We have focused on Facebook Ads to drive traffic to our stores. However, there are many options such as SEO, Pinterest, Instagram influencers etc.

    It's very easy to get training on how to do Facebook Ads. If you want suggestions, please let me know!

    And, with Print on Demand, ETSY is a great choice with free advertising. It's one of the new directions we are heading with our other store.
