Why this business was started

There was a huge gap in the Canadian activewear market. Canada didn't have much to offer other than Lululemon, and I really wanted to fill that gap with ethically made, high quality activewear. I wanted to offer a variety of brands so customers have a selection and can find what works for them.

I have taken it as far as I can and it is time for my next challenge! Sweat Society needs someone that has more experience in online marketing to really allow it to fulfill its full potential

Other details about profit: Sweat Society was grown with zero investors or loans. Everything that the company made in the first 3 years (2015-2018) was put back into buying inventory and expanding. The profit margin above takes this into account and was calculated from 2019-2020. The profit margin includes the COGs - product purchased; shipping (including materials to ship); Labor (when needed for shows/events); domain; shopify charges and monthly expenses which include - advertising, bank charges, dues/subscriptions (quickbooks; gmail), legal/professional fees, utilities (internet, mobility). Expenses are all subjective to what the buyer wants to include, and how much they want to spend in each category. We did a lot of pop-ups and events which were always very successful, and travel was an expense for these shows. But as Sweat Society is being sold as an e-commerce, these expenses were not included and there was not a lot of travel in 2019-2020 due to COVID. If the buyer is wanting to create additional revenue outside of e-commerce, things like yoga festivals, and local pop-ups are a great way to get in front of the customer.

      Sweat Society is being sold as a TurnKey e-commerce business. Everything will be transferred over - The logo (in the process of being trademarked - should be completed by 2022). All social media - FaceBook, Instagram, TikTok. All advertisements, graphics, reports, photography etc. will be handed over. Our email list and campaigns, automations, email drips, etc will all be transferred. Everything is organized and filed in a Dropbox account. This can be transferred to pass off assets, everything can be put on a hard drive and mailed, or any other way the buyer wishes. Inventory transfer can be negotiated.

      1 month of training for the following as needed: - how to buy new product from current partners - how to upload and input new products on website - how to navigate around Shopify - any additional support needed on the backend involving Shopify and the theme. Training and support beyond 1 month can be negotiated with a paid contract.
