Why this business was started
This is the key point to this entire sale/store. I purchased this store along with a couple others in July 2019. I did not relaunch this site until the first week of August. So when you look at the profit per month, it is not $73 a month. I have earned almost $400 a month with this store without it being my primary focus. Additionally, the traffic numbers have sky rocketed over that period of time with almost 12,000 total visitors.
The reason of selling this business
As previously mentioned, I have purchased a couple other stores and they have actually become my focus. It was intentional or designed that way. I have just found them to fit more in line with what my strengths are and I feel bad knowing that there is so much opportunity with Sweet Home Living but I am just not fully invested time wise. These traffic numbers are absolutely massive and according to Shopify are "In the top 2% of all stores that launched at the same time."
What's involved in running this business
Obviously, searching and identifying what products to include on the site via dropshipping sites ( I use Oberlo) is going to be the key part. I tried to think a season in advance for each site update or product launch. For instance, right now you'll see that there is an Autumn based collection up on the site, as well as the Holiday collection just launched last week. Being forward thinking with regards to the catalog is very helpful. Outside of that, you will need to set up a Facebook Ads account so that you can run ads on Facebook and Instagram. I don't leverage Pinterest nearly as much as I should for actual "sales" but the advertising platform within it is really easy to set up and manage, and the product catalog is directly connected to it.
Really, once you launch new products or a seasonal line, you just need to create posts, content, and advertisements for them via social media for the weeks following. This is where I just don't have the time to dive into as much as I would like.

How to grow this business
My focus would be on working with specific supplier stores to negotiate a way to increase shipping times, or at least provide options. Additionally, I would heavily leverage Pinterest for conversions based on the organic traffic the site receives from that channel. Additionally, I would enter the Amazon Marketplace.
