You will also notice some paddlers sitting on their boards awkwardly trying to paddle with one blade. These are the people Switchblades are designed to help. Switchblade Paddles solve a very real problem; they help standup paddlers overcome the wind and current when it turns against them. We have now sold over 200 paddles online, at trade shows, and through resellers. Our paddles have proved to be a valuable and viable addition to the SUP community. We are the first company to identify and solve this problem.
