Why this business was started
I wanted to try out eCommerce as a way to bring in secondary income, as such I purchased an established store to get a head start on running a side business. The eco-themed company seemed like a great fit with an established base of customers and a large social media following. I was personally attracted to the eco-theme and simplicity of the products as they would have a large range of potential customers around the world. Using Bamboo as a renewable resource makes the products have less of a negative impact on the environment and selling these products online allowed for significant reach around the world.
The reason of selling this business
While I love the products and the over arching idea of the bamboo station, I have not been able to put in the time to increase the marketing effort to make it the success it could be. It was a great learning experience but in the end it has taught me that the marketing side of a business is not where I want to spend my time.

The main skills to run the site is to keep visitors coming through paid advertisements. A strong ability to bring a continuous stream of visitors to the site at a profitable cost would be the greatest skill for the owner. Specifically, having knowledge on how to use Instagram Advertising, Facebook Advertising and analytics and Google Adsense for targeted ads is key.
