Why this business was started
This business has so much potential. Brides want to buy online, & try on accessories in the comfort of their own home. Currently they have the choice of very cheap looking stuff on ebay, or very expensive items on a few small niche websites, or from bridal shops with huge mark ups. I saw a gap in the market. There is a very big profit margin to be made on bridal accessories which can be bought for a few dollars from China, and if packaged nicely, and marketed correctly, can be sold for a very good profit online, without the middle man of bridal shops. For example, the robes which brides often buy to wear for hen weekends, and on the morning of the wedding. Also the fur wraps that brides wear in Winter, also a good seller. This is our own product range, as the market didn't have a great one in the UK. There is potential to do the same with veils, hair wires, head bands, flower crowns, wedding jewellery, bridesmaid gifts, venue decorations, and so many other areas. But this requires time and money which I simply don't have with my current commitments.
The reason of selling this business
Because I don't have the time or money that it requires. Since October 2018, I have had to put the business aside due to other commitments, and apart from sending out parcels, the odd conversation once a month with current suppliers, and a few minutes a week adjusting the Adwords, I have had to let it run itself. Now the business is on Pause.
What's involved in running this business
2 or 3 hours a week sending out parcels. 1 /2 hours a month reordering from existing suppliers 15 minutes a week on Google Adwords A future owner though would want to spend much more time developing new product lines, and working on the marketing, in order to grow the business

How to grow this business
I would invest in new product lines, and spend time on marketing on social media. Sales come from Google Adwords, but there is so much untapped potential through FB/Instagram etc. Plus through editorial promotion on wedding blogs. Would be very easy to build this business, it just requires some money and a lot of loving care and attention, time that I sadly don't have.
Skills to have
Not particularly. just a passion for all things bridal, and a desire to find products that really brides are looking for. A knowledge of marketing in the social media arena would make the job easier.
