Why this business was started
I decided to start this business to try my hand at creating a website and going my own in the advertising space. I currently work full-time in a highly regulated industry therefore the opportunity to advertise directly to customers and try new platforms was extremely attractive. Why headphones? This was an area I identified as having potential due to the niche for a site and a brand devoted purely to headphones. There is amazon and other providers, however these see headphones as an additional product. By creating a brand where there is a passion for headphones has helped build a USP and give the impression of quality above and beyond these other providers.
The reason of selling this business
As I work full-time, the time needed to grow the site to its full potential would be best suited to someone else. I have put in the foundations and made a fair bit of sales but in order to reach the next level it would require more investment into the social media side of things and up-keeping of the orders. As I'd quite like to see this business thrive under the hands of someone else, I've decided to put the site up for much lower than Shopify valuation of $1750 (see screenshots).

How to grow this business
I would definitely look at refining the products and suppliers to the couple of highly successful products + advertise these using the facebook and google retargeting pixels. I'd look at using some automatic tracking app that enable customers to track the status of their headphones automatically. I would also grow the social media presence - both instagram and facebook, as well as utilise our customer permissions. This is the one thing I would have loved to more of if I had more time outside my day job.
