Why this business was started
I designed myself a journal to help me get more organised and happened to really love it so I created some journals to sell and this was a side hustle while I focused on another ecommerce business but as soon as I launched it was evident that this was something special. I sold the other business and focused on The House of Routine
I do have GRAND PLANS for The House of Routine and would love to see them fulfilled, regardless if that is with me or someone else.
The reason of selling this business
This has been an incredibly difficult decision and part of it is personal, so I would go into more detail with the potential buyer.
Another reason is that I am starting to realise my passion is in the startup/creation phase of businesses.
What's involved in running this business
The business is very autonomous with fulfilling orders or any "manual" type of work.
The beauty of this business is that, all of the orders are fulfilled by a 3PL warehouse who pick, pack and ship orders daily (based in Sydney). You can take on fulfilling yourself if you wish.
This means you can focus your time on the fun stuff such as: Advertising/marketing, content creation, posting, researching new products, customer service.
These results has mostly been achieved from just myself and help from part time VA's! Just imagine what you could achieve with a team! Or keep running by yourself.

How to grow this business
The company is in such a good position for HUGE growth! Everything has been set up, we have had tens of thousands of customers and a big email database. There are many many new product categories that can be expanded into and making your audience even bigger.
You could open up products across multiple categories such as: Skin care, House hold cleaning, pets, foods, clothing, drink bottles, bags, an app based off the daily routine journal and many other products and categories!
Another opportunity would be wholesale, we have not done any wholesale as of yet.
I have been in talks with a developer and have a detailed quote on creating a mobile app from the daily routine journal which we've polled our audience and received a great response.
Another growth opportunity would be paid influencers, we've worked with many influencers but never paid for influencers. If you have a budget for bigger influencers there would be big room for growth and sales.
Skills to have
The new owner should have some sort of prior marketing experience but is not essential and could be learnt on the go.
Knowledge in email marketing, social media advertising and content would be advised.
