Running this business for about 3 years
I own and manage 13 different websites, that all have customize products, warehoused in France, near my customers. We do not believe in drop shipping in the long term. Having a product that does not come directly from AliExpress is bringing a customer experience that value the higher price tag (and margin) you can apply.
