General description

Motivated Seller Hello I'm Eric Pearce, founder/owner of The Memr (pronownced Memer). I officially opened the store May 6th 2018. First two orders were received May 7th.

UPDATE New lender payment provider integration has been completed.

Customers can now choose to pay for products in 4 installments rather than full price at one time. The provider has been proven to increase conversion by about 20%-40%, AOV by about 50%, and revenue by 10%.

I started this store partly because I have a passion for golf as I'm a golfer myself. I wanted to sell products I believe in, in a niche I believe in. The store is mainly drop shipping and has good relationships with suppliers. It also has a Print On Demand side for casual apparel, hats, and coffee mugs.

It currently has 20 products listed with via Oberlo, of which 4 products are best sellers. There is plently of room for scaling, however, my attention is moving to my other store so I have decided to sell The Memr.

To date the store has done $10,710 revenue with, about $8400 profit before adspend. For adspend, Instagram influencers adspend was about $1600 in total which accounted for $8256 of the revenue, $1348 from Facebook ads. Product costs were $2175 total. I have built a list of 1650 emails. Store sessions are: 30,170 social 3591 direct 1741 unknown 1136 search 38 email

Total sessions 36676, of which 35458 are visitors. Instagram has account for 17140 sessions. Facebook 13005. Twitter 13. YouTube 11. Sessions by device is 34168 mobile. Desktop 1690. Tablet 813. 3 unknown. 1 game console. 1 smart tv.

Average order value is $14.96, however, I did a substantial price increase in the last two weeks due to the fact that I was running many Free plus shipping promotions. As of lately my AOV has been around $30. Total orders are 716.

NOTE: Recent weeks towards the sale, revenue and profits are lower since the store has seen less attention from myself as time is committed to other projects as mentioned above, thus, the maintenance and marketing was done on a lower scale.

The business is established and running, this is not a starter site.

All our products have been handpicked, however, 4 have been tested.

Since most of the sales are generated through social media influencer's, you as the new owner will have the option to continue that and will receive proper introductions.

Additional Note: I have added a lender type payment system to the store which allows customers to payment in 4 installments. This will increase sales and conversion by making even a high ticket product become more impulse.

Other details about profit: *** The reason for average monthly profit being higher than average monthly revenue is because I’m not currently using the store due to other priorities.*** Up until July, I was running free plus shipping promotions on my top sellers at $10-$12.50. I have since stopped these promotions and raised prices substantially. Best sellers are now priced around $19.99 plus $4.95 shipping for Standard Shipping and $10 International Shipping. This alone raised margin substantially. Additionally, I started running a new app for upsells by Bold. Since this, AOV shot up to around $30+ due to multiple item orders and more international sales with the higher shipping cost. I advise the new owner to continue with this pricing and as previously mentioned, add more advertising channels, especially Facebook, Google, and email marketing. If this is done, this store has unlimited upside potential due to the fact that the golf niche is very unsaturated, in fact, it seems to be overlooked. This will position the new owner for great success.
