I started this business specifically as an easy to run home business for my wife as a way to earn additional income while at home with our young child. The inventory can easily be stored at home, even if you don't have a specific extra space, which saves a huge amount of time and overheads.

I've decided to sell this business, as my wife has grown in confidence and is interested in developing a new business from scratch. This business has grown to provide a steady stream of sales, so it seems like a good point to hand over to a new owner. Please note that this sale includes a large amount of quality stock, so the buyer can hit the ground running.

What's involved in running this business

This is an easy business to run. 99% of the stock fits into the same standard sized packaging (jiffy envelope). The products are straightforward and low-tech, so there are very few returns and not many customer services requirements.

The majority of sales and traffic come from Google Product Ads, there are also some organic sales. There is huge potential to increase the scope of advertising to gain more sales.

We fulfil orders manually, this is very simple due to the nature of the products we sell, and takes a few minutes per day.

Customers generally communicate via email, although we also have a (virtual) landline telephone number, which can be transferred to the buyer if necessary.

Due to the nature of the product, it's easy to follow up customer enquiries swiftly, as items are close at hand, and don't need time to be picked/re-stored.
