Why this business was started

I started the business to gain experience in starting and running a business especially around travel. The business was also a way to help create a financial foundation for my career in photography as well as a way to help me provide for my home. My partner at the time also runs his own business and has always done extremely well and encouraged me to do the same.

The reason of selling this business

Unfortunately due to negatives within my home life I no longer have the time to run the business as well as cater to my day job, family, home and work on photography. I have decided to stop working on the business to use my time on the other factors mentioned and in all honesty my passion is with photography and that is something I would like to focus on going forward.

Fulfilling orders, ordering from suppliers, quick email responses to customers within 24 hours, searching new trending products, order from suppliers, regular communication with influencers and running posts with them ( I have built great relationships with certain influencers and happy to provide their handles on Instagram for the new owner to get in touch), create new product videos and images.

I can also guide the new owner through Ali Express such as fulfilling orders etc I am happy to do this for 3 months. Influencers with a following of 2.5million and more charge about $300, those around 1.2m followers charge about $100. Average cost of products from Ali Express is $14 and the store sells the products around of $47.

    How to grow this business

    I would use other platforms to advertise products and the store such as Facebook adverts and the use of Pinterest to grab new customer's attention. I would continue working with Instagram Influencers by providing videos or products to post on their page.

    Skills to have

    The new owner should be patient with both customers and influencers as both can be demanding and difficult. Be creative with the look and design of the website as in order for it to look appealing and professional as well be creative with videos for facebook campaigns and instagram videos and pictures. Manage payouts well to ensure you have profit and enough for campaigns and paying influencers.
