Why this business was started
I opened up the The Wrecking Pit in 2018. Since then I have added a lot of designs and built up a good social media following that like the type of art that I print on my shirts which is a horror & Sci fi niche. There is a growing market for this kind of style and my targets usually are the Rockabilly, Goth, Emo, Psychobilly & Punk scene. My designs can also appeal to an alternative market. This has become a 2nd business to me as my main work is online recording and mixing. I'm a producer and own a record label. I thought it would be fun to do this in my spare time and I've seen it grow quite a lot over the last few years.
The reason of selling this business
I want to concentrate more on my music production, cutting vinyl etc and unfortunately I don't have the time to do both. I am also a freelance producer and that takes up a lot of my time. The store will include the mailing list, Facebook Page, Twitter page and Pinterest page. I have enjoyed my time being creative during the pandemic and watch the shop grow esp this last year. I feel its time now to concentrate more on my music work.

SuppliersI don't have any physical inventory as I use printful which is a great dropshipping company. They can take care of all the mailouts and handling of the goods. You can also add how much you want to add for profit for your shirts and normally on the mens T shirts I can make £10 profit per shirt as the shirt and print cost around £9 and I sell for £21 which i think is a fair price
Skills to have
Some skills are required such as Photoshop for editing and cropping and getting the images ready for social media, Being able to use tags, Instagram & Facebook buisness skills will be required to post updates of new products, sales, being able to work out discounts. It would also be advisable to research the Psychobilly genre to get an idea what kind of shirt designs that are popular. Usually it has to do with Vampire, Zombies, Skulls and Rockabilly/Punk. I also aim for the Emo and Goth scene with logos like, Creepy Girl, bats, Spiders etc.
