Why this business was started

My sister has been in the dropshipping business for over three years. In September 2017, she created this Shopify store but didn't end up pursuing it as she wanted to focus on her main business. After reading about dropshipping, I tested about 10 different products, but none of them were profitable. I then decided to take over this store from her and I launched on December 26th 2018 (to be exact).

The reason of selling this business

The reason why I have decided to sell my business is because of time constraints with school. This has been an operating business since end of December 2018, and after February 2019, my school workload become too much to handle with a business. Therefore, since then, I have not been able to put in enough time into the business as school is my top priority currently, especially as I go into my last year of University.

    How to grow this business

    The potential growth for the baby niche market is endless and will always be there, because parents are always willing to spend money on their children. Over the next few years, growing the store can be done by launching innovative products, scaling ads, continue to increase social media following and expanding the mailing list. Customer satisfaction is also a huge contributor for growth. This can be done by reducing shipping times. Hiring a few employees may also be beneficial in the near future, in order to distribute the work. Lastly, updating the website after every couple of months may be beneficial. I just re-designed the website about two months ago, using a bought theme on Shopify.
