Why this business was started

I started this store to learn how to operate an e-commerce business. I have built this business to become mostly automated and return solid profits particularly around Q4 of the year.

As this product dominates its niche, the facebook ads saw huge success with ROAS minimum 3x - 15x for whole campaign durations. The Facebook pixel has hundreds of campaign data built up on it and can easily be extremely profitable for the next buyer. We will provide all creative Facebook ad material ever created (photos, videos, testimonials, ad copy, ad learnings, tips and tricks) etc.

As you can see in the screenshots we sold over $100,000 in 6 weeks to over 1,000 customers and had to scale back ads due to too much demand and being out of stock. We put orders on pre-order whilst running minimum ads - this explains the decline in sales in January 2021. Due to COVID we saw long delays in stock production so didn’t scale the ads back up again. By early 2021 my other business required full time attention and as a result I have not scaled this store since then and organically made $55,000 over 2021 with little effort and attention to this store. I have built extremely strong branding around this product with over 200+ 5-star real reviews on the website, over 4100+ real IG followers and over 4000 real email customer list. Much of our advertisement comes from organic user generated content (UCG).This strong branding and high quality product is why we have a customer return rate of 27.21% in 2021 and why customers choose our product over drop-shipping alternatives. This product is a kitchen necessity with ever-growing high demand and has the ability to grow to become a household well-known brand with the right focus and attention.

The reason of selling this business

Honestly, after the fantastic results in Q4 2020 ($130,000 in 3 months) I was not going to sell this business and continue to grow it into 2021. However, I run other businesses that require my full attention. It was a very difficult decision as this business has huge potential, a loyal customer base and very little branded competitors - but I would rather see this business flourish in the hands of a new owner that can give it the time and focus it needs to grow to its full potential.

Outside of running Facebook ads - this business is almost entirely automated.

  • We have one supplier that is not on Aliexpress (meaning product is hard to imitate) who we have locked in prices with. You buy stock periodically and the supplier produces and ships it to the fulfilment team. This process is 90% automated. Stock can be shipped anywhere in the world.

  • We have a fulfilment team overseas who holds your stock, counts inventory, fulfils orders and ships out orders. You never touch stock. You simply transfer them funds and they fulfil batches of orders, take care of updating shipping information etc. This process is 90% automated. Inventory is able to be shipped to anywhere in the world.

  • We have one trustworthy virtual assistant (VA) who replies to all emails, social media comments and messages on behalf of the brand. The VA also posts on social media using the planned out social media calendar content. We have established all required customer communication templates already. This process is 100% automated.

  • We have the website established with all apps required. We have recovery emails and sms programs installed which auto-generate to convert customers who left their cart behind.

Running Facebook ads is the only operation of the business required. This requires little time and effort as you have access to hundreds of previously successful campaigns to duplicate and thousands of different ad creatives with proven successful ad copy. Simply set up the campaigns and let them run - you will only require 30 mins to adjust campaign budgets sporadically.

Other details about profit: IMPORTANT PLEASE READ This store has the ability to make over $50,000+ in sales per month as we did $63,000+ in November 2020 and $55,000+ in December 2020 before scaling down the Facebook ads due to out of stock and putting orders on pre-order. I was then focusing on my other businesses that need more of my time and unable to invest the time into this one - this explains the decline in sales. Shopify is skewing the figures to include months that we were not focusing on the business or running ads. When the business is actively running ads, our monthly revenue from was $10k in Oct (we started ads at the end of this month), $65k in Nov and $55k in December = total average of $43,000/month with a profit of $8,600+ per month. The average profit margin sits at minimum 20% to 35%. Our monthly revenue in April was $15k from emailing alone and profit margin was 20% and take home profit was $3,000. Our monthly revenue in June was $10k from emailing alone and profit margin was 25% and take home profit was $2,500. As you can see in the screenshots, when we decided to advertise again through sending out minimal emails we achieved immediate sales - like flicking on a switch. You can see that from January 2021 - Sept 2021 we have put minimal effort into the business with little/no paid advertising and only advertised through emails and achieved $56,000. You will very easily see thousands in take home profit from minimal work and minimal human structure that can be done from home without ever touching stock. How much you choose to spend on Facebook ads is up to you. We see extremely high ROAS from small investment in paid advertisement so this marketing channel is worth your time. In addition, email marketing has been extremely effective in retargeting our loyal customer base for repurchase. Often customers repurchase 3+ times with us.
