Why this business was started

I started this business to bring another source of income in my life after joining the military I spend like 2 hours a week product researching, I also got a freelancer I pay to product research for me. Once the freelancer brought this product to my eyes I knew I had to test it and to see if this is a real opportunity. I saw how unique and eye catching this product is so I went for it.

The reason of selling this business

I'm currently serving in the military. Unfortunately I don't have enough time to work on multiple stores right now.

What's involved in running this business

The way I ran this product was just asking Instagram influencers to advertise this product for a 16% cut. It basically was an automated process, the only thing I had to take care of is fulfilling the products. The influencers agreed to get paid only 16% because they knew that the product had potential. We got 18 orders with the product and 16 of them were just automated with the influencers. The other 2 sales were from facebook ads, we took a shot at Facebook 2 weeks with the product, we made 2 cheap sales quickly. The ROAS was like 14, but unfortunately the ad account got disabled after 3 days, and then got re enabled. But I just decided not to try again, due to luck of time.

Other details about profit: The graph shows that our average monthly revenue is low because the store has been up for about 3-4 months before we started advertising. First month we started simple advertising we made 1800$ with 55-65% profit.

      I will go over everything with the new owner, and surely will be there for any questions or anything via Skype, or any other platform there is, for about a week to 2 weeks after the sale. Help with marketing that include using Instagram influencers, Facebook ads(even though we barely advertised on Facebook), , and running the business in general, like contacting the supplier, fulfilling orders and more...

    How to grow this business

    The product is an amazing product that got us cheap results very quickly, there are countless ways to advertise it and grow it, I did not have enough time to work on this business, so the main method of marketing i used was letting influencers advertise this product for a small commision, I just sent them the video, and paid them 16% commission for every sale. Took a couple of hours to run a week. I'm sure that with the right owner that will spend more time on these business, it's gonna grow tremendously. Moving to Facebook ads would be a good idea as well, the product is a general product, which means it would probably do well in all platforms. We got 2 custom amazing videos with the store.

    Just basic Shopify skills, a little bit of social media knowledge, any marketing skills like facebook ads, influences are good as well.
