General description

- Let me start out with how I went on building a store of my choice. When I successfully graduated I felt there is more in myself to be worked on. I called up one of my very good friend as we both were based in Dubai. We sat together to discuss what can we do in order bring us revenue. As we both loved shopping and we always tend to get something which has a "Buy one get one free" offer, lol. We decided why not we start up our own ecommerce store just like [REDACTED] Bezos and keep our own offers which will not only please people but grow further by building our own products. - Shopify to us was the best and the most convenient platform to set up our ecommerce store. We decided a theme which looked simple and a name which sounds just as simple to understand, We came up with " Those Items " and we realized this could be where we could sell those peculiar items. - Moving over to what type of products we have accessories of different categories and electronics which is appealing to all. You can check these out in our store. - We have our Facebook page as well as an Instagram page. - This is a dropship business model where we ship products directly to our customers from China. No inventory cost. No additional cost to be worried. Whenever a customer makes an order only then we order from alibaba or aliexpress. - We only use facebook ads and as we are students we couldnt afford for a huge start off budget so we tend to go on a low scale and make about 20-50$ per day. We approached few Instagram influencer's according to our category to promote our particular product. - We assure if you got the budget to place facebook ads and the skills you can move ahead and gain a 200% profit from the products being sold on our store. Targeting has to be good. - As we paused our store for about 2 months now, back before we used to hae 2 - 3 recurring customers who keeps buying our particular bracelet which we put on sale i.e Men's Leather Bracelet available on our store. - The reason we are selling this store because we cannot handle it with our real life personal issues. We planned to come back stronger after few months and we are really sad to let our beautiful store go off. We hope the next customer can take it forward.

The new buyer can improve it wisely by placing appropriate facebook ads and targeting specific countries according to the products.

What work have you put into the store?

Hiring freelancers for specific icon design, placements additional coding for the footer. The theme was twerked a bit from its original.
