Why this business was started
As I couldn't go back to France for holidays due to the COVID-19 crisis, I have decided to send some snacks to my friends and family. They really loved it and after some research - looking at competitors - I realized that the profit margins were pretty high and that I could make a bit of extra money with it. So I decided to make an ecommerce store and it gained traction, growing to about 2 times my full-time job salary in profit.
The reason of selling this business
After being featured in very famous French & Japanese TV channels and newspapers, I am feeling like there isn't much that could excite me anymore. Of course it is a great source of income as side-hustle, but I am ready to take on the next challenge.
What's involved in running this business
On a day to day basis, you have to check the orders and fulfill them, if these are not for the monthly box. All the monthly boxes are shipped at once, at the end of the month, so you don't have to worry too much about it on a daily level.
To create your boxes, you have to order from suppliers or go to the snack shops. All info about the preferred suppliers and preferred shops will be communicated when the deal is closed.
On a daily basis, you also have to reply to customers emails, whether they are wondering where their boxes are (usually just check the tracking number) or if they have questions about the boxes. It takes 5 to 15 minutes a day.
For marketing, I only spend a couple minutes a day, answering to messages on instagram and twitter accounts, and eventually post stories or pictures about snacks.
For now, there is no paid advertising but you could also add an extra 10 to 30 minutes a day running them.

Personal support after saleFor the first month after the sale, I will provide a full onboarding on how you should run the business. It can be done via zoom calls or face to face if you live in Japan. You will have an overview of : 1) how to manage the website 2) how to find products etc.. 3) how to make the boxes 4) how to ship the boxes (print labels, deal with post office etc...) 5) how to keep track of the shipping I will also provide French translation support for the first 3 months, in case you need help with answering to customers in French. After that 3-month period, you will be on your own.
Product photosAll product pictures files (photoshop) will be transferred via file sharing services. That will be around 10 to 15 files in total.
SuppliersI will include all the details about the different suppliers : 1) snack suppliers 2) box suppliers 3) gift suppliers 4) decoration suppliers 5) stickers and business cards suppliers
How to grow this business
French Market : keep a presence in the French media outlets, to keep a high SEO performance. Expand on UK and US markets, as these are still untapped markets (until a month ago, the website was 100% in French).

If possible basic French language, but it can be done via google translate very easily.
