Business Story

Why this business was started

I started this business to prove that I could create a profitable drop shipping store in 1 month - I've done that! It was really fun for me to find a product that people would use and then "use up" so I could get repeat business from them. The site is currently so new that we haven't had any repeat buyers, so when they start reordering the sales will grow exponentially.

The reason of selling this business

I'm selling the business because I want to create a store I can sell more products on and create an online brand. Although Tough Tape is a great product, I feel I am limited to one product and I don't particularly feel the passion for selling tape. I'm going to try to focus my efforts on building a brand around another set of products.

3 Highly profitable Facebook ads and strategy included in the sale.

What's involved in running this business

This business is basically running on autopilot and breaking even. The Facebook ads run continually, generating continual sales. Every morning I wake up and order products, and sinc existing orders so customers are updated with tracking info. This takes me around 1 hr. per day. (excluding Sundays)

This business was founded: about 2 months ago
Time to run this business: approximately 7 hours per week

    Seller‘s Advice

    How to grow this business

This store is currently generating great traffic and gets consistent sales. Going forward I would put my efforts into email marketing to start building repeat business. I would create automated campaigns that would urge customers to reorder ever 6 months or so. I think there is a great market for expanding further into Instagram and scaling the existing Facebook ad campaigns.

    Skills to have

This is a basic drop shipping store. Anyone could easily learn how to run this business in a couple of days. Oberlo does most of the work. You will need an understanding of social media marketing specifically Facebook ads to generate enough traffic to get a return on your investment.
