Why this business was started
I was testing the market and my personal time commitment. I thought I could manage the store part time and at least break even, but I dont have the skillset nor time. T Shirt shops do work and do make money but again I was incorrect in thinking I could handle all aspects without a small team. (Social media guy, Graphic designer, and marketer)
The reason of selling this business
I overestimated the viability of the online tshirt market and underestimated the time commitment. Due to the oversaturation of niche graphic designers and tshirt shops, it makes it extremely hard to get traffic or purchase ads that work without a strong understanding of google ads and social media marketing. I work part time so it makes it unreasonable for me to design shirts and run an ecommerce store. Just the design aspect alone is overwhelming.
