Why this business was started

We started Triton Trading Company as a venture into the world of Amazon FBA and private labeling our own brand. We already had a successful drop-shipping business that we had moved on from and were ready to tackle the opportunities and challenges of Amazon.

The reason of selling this business

Our goal was to build our business on Amazon and then eventually move on to our true passion- flying drones. We spent the last few years building Triton to a successful business model. We were most attracted to Amazon FBA as a business model for the passive income concept. With Amazon handling all of the order fulfillment, shipping, customer returns etc.- this was a prime candidate for a more passive business to run.

  2. Ordering and shipping products in bulk from suppliers
  3. Running advertising campaigns
  4. Occasionally responding to customer emails - often this is handled by Amazon or even automated software. There is much less work involved here than having a drop-shipping business.

    How to grow this business

    The main ways to grow Triton Trading Company would be-

    1. Continue to add more products and sku's within the niche
    2. Refine advertising costs on Amazon as much as possible. This could be a real money saver if you have expertise here or can hire a talented PPC manager.
    3. Buy stock in large quantities (price per unit goes down based on volume)

    Skills to have

    Basic e-commerce or Amazon Seller skills could be helpful- particularly from a PPC perspective. However, hiring an effective and budget friendly PPC manager is not difficult and we can suggest some potential candidates.
