General description

I started True Best Friend out of my love of dogs. I'm also a dog owner myself. So I have designers that create new dog designs based on research I do in the market. We sell hoodies, t-shirts, long-sleeves, mugs, hats, leggings and more. Also, as we began to have success we wanted to find other ways to stand out and to give back to dogs and really all animals that might be in need. So one of our missions is to try and make donations to organizations devoted to helping dogs in many ways. Our primary partnership we have currently is with a great organization called: The Animal Welfare Institute. Their main dedication is to "alleviate the suffering inflicted on animals by people." They aim to put an end to animal cruelty and so we wanted to help. I have contractors that I pay to help with different areas of the business. Right now, to run more efficiently, I just have someone that handles customer service. I handle everything else. I spend about 10-20 hours a week sending emails to our email subscribers, managing the store, any issues, marketing, etc. We also have a fulfillment center for our physical products. Although recently we have decided to streamline and run the business more effectively focusing primarily on our print on demand clothing line, eliminating the overhead that comes with having to manage physical products. We have also used Facebook adverting a lot in the past to generate a lot of revenue. Also, shopify is not the only source of all our revenue for the store. We have a lot of sales that we have generated via our Clickfunnels account and Stripe which I would be happy to show proof of. Furthermore, our email list is a rather powerful asset that we have. A significant amount of revenue has come directly from our email list. Hopefully that gives you a brief summary of our business. But please send me any questions or concerns you may have. Why should someone buy this store?

Because we already have a strong foundation built in the pet market. We have accounts in all the major social media space. We have a fulfilment center already establisshed if you ever want to continue to sell physical products. We have a solid supplier with which to buy all your dog products at great volume prices. We have a terrific email list that is made up of actually dog product "buyers". And finally, we have a strong sales proposition, by partnering with various dog/animal organizations like The Animal Welfare Institute.

How can the future owner improve the business?

Just by continuing to scale and expand in new areas from a marketing perspective as they expound on what we are already doing well. And to really focus a lot of energy and attention on customer service as this industry demands that.
