Why this business was started
So many good reasons why I decided to start! I touched on how the idea came to be in my 'about me' paragraph at the top, but I had a passion for designing clothes that were exactly everything I wanted them to be--and those same design factors really resonated with others as well! When I thought of this business idea, I was a new mom figuring out my postpartum body and beginning the process of losing weight. This, and daydreaming about travel during Covid lockdowns haha. I wanted comfy sweatpants that were ALSO flattering and looked very nice! Outfits that could be worn out traveling and comfortable enough to fall asleep in during your flight. I love that I was able to solve these common issues for women and help others feel confident! This business journey also helped me tremendously with my postpartum depression and I'll forever be grateful for that.
The reason of selling this business
This was such a difficult decision to make! I am in love with my brand still and everything it embodies. However, I am over 6 months pregnant with my second and have decided that I'm going to put all of my energy in raising my two children and become a fulltime stay-at-home-mom. It seemed like a good time to put my business up for sale because the new owner could easily transition into introducing a new product or line if they would like, our customers would love it. I was in a position to either decide to expand the brand or sell it :)
What's involved in running this business
Packing/shipping orders, running social media accounts and creating content OR working with influencers for that content, communicating with supplier and ordering future product to launch, planning and researching upcoming fashion styles, boosting posts as online ads.

How to grow this business
I would introduce new product (thought about matching hoodies + longer shorts!-customers would LOVE this). Continue to grow my audience through social media outlets and online ads. Possibly add a men's or kid's line (have gotten positive feedback for introducing both of those!)

Interest in current or upcoming fashion styles, familiar with Shopify store settings (although easy to learn), social media/marketing experience is always good.
