E-commerce is my passion, and I run multiple stores. I love taking 1 simple idea and transforming it into an entire business! As previously mentioned, I have sold hundreds of jewelry items from this store. Jewelry has a high perceived value, so their is a great mark up on this niche and decent profit margins. The current item in the store has been vastly researched, and my vendor for the product has sold over 2,000 units. With that being said, there is a definite proof of concept for this product, and not much competition. Win-Win! This item is 100% personalized by the customer, so they can literally see their image of a loved one come to life in the form of a jewelry pendant. Selling products that hold an emotional attachment will always sell, because once the customer feels an emotional connection to your product, they will place a high value on it, and purchase it not only for themselves, but also as gifts for others and even multiples of the same product to give away to friends and family. This store has been my baby the past 2 years and am hoping its new owner will enjoy running it as much as I have.

I simply cannot dedicate the amount of time to this store as I would want to. I run multiple Shopify stores and have made the difficult decision of focusing on building up my other brands and turning this one over to a new owner. I am confident in the fact that if this product is marketed in the correct way, it surely has the potential to hit a 6 figure revenue this year. This is an evergreen product which can be marketed in many different angles, such as: Birthday, Wedding, Anniversary, Valentines Day, Remembrance niche, Pet owners, Business owners (rep their brand logo instead of a photo), Parents of young children, etc.
What's involved in running this business
The main aspect of running this store is the marketing. I suggest continuing with Facebook ads, and also incorporating Influencer marketing, Affiliate marketing and email marketing, as mentioned previously. The other main tasks -
Fulfilling orders - This is semi-automated with use of Oberlo. I hired a Virtual assistant at one point to help me completely automate this process. I can provide the new owner with connection to the Virtual assistant agency I use, if needed.
Customer service - Honestly customer emails come in very rarely so this is a very minor aspect of running the business. Can also be outsourced with a Virtual assistant.
Retargeting has been fully automated with a Abandoned cart email sequence (3 emails over 3 days), also I have SMS bump (text message marketing) completely automated with an Abandoned cart text message sequence. I have also implemented a subscription sign up bonus on the product page which alone has generated nearly $3,000 in store revenue.

How to grow this business
I'd highly suggest the continued use of Facebook and Instagram ads, which is how I have successfully ran it thus far. Moving forward, I would also highly recommend incorporating Influencer marketing on platforms such as Tiktok and Instagram, and increase email marketing efforts. Finally, I would advise working with Affiliates to promote the product organically. An affiliate program has already been installed to the store using a Shopify app called UpPromote, in which Affiliates earn 20% commission on every sale they acquire.
Skills to have
This store is pretty simple to run, the main skills needed would be with the marketing. Influencer marketing alone would skyrocket this product, which does not take much skill at all! I would be willing to help the new owner with jump starting this process. The other skills needed would be for order fulfillment (via Oberlo), I also would be willing to provide the new owner with the Virtual Assistant Agency I was using previously to help fulfill my orders, and respond to any customer emails.
